Ruby Tuesday Overbearing Service

We went to Ruby Tuesday tonight for my once a month hamburger. They have a Triple Prime Burger which is pretty good. But they were out of it as they have been for a while so I ordered a regular burger which isn’t bad and much better that you’ll get at any fast food place.

But the service was annoying.

First one server asked about drinks and we ordered. The others hadn’t decided what to order so asked for a few minutes. Then another server came by and asked if we wanted drinks. We said we’d already ordered from the first one. Then they came and asked if we were ready to order a few seconds later. Then they came later to take our order and they said no prime burger and also we were ordering ribs but they were out of that too. They said they had been busy.

And while eating the manager comes by to ask if it is all OK. Well don’t annoy us and it is much better. They I was finished my burger and my wife was eating her salad and they came to take away my plate moving it over top my wife’s plate and practically knocking the fork from he mouth.

And then in the end they put their card for us to give comments. The card isn’t anonymous so if we really gave our comments to you think they would give the card to their management!

And for the bill they asked if we had a discount card. Not yet. I think I’ll start cooking my once a month burger at home!

I did a card a while back in a restaurant and made the mistake of putting my phone number. Then every week they were phoning me to ask if I was coming on the weekend.

They need to train the people more how to provide nice customer service and do better marketing.

We went out a week ago elsewhere and were also annoyed by the staff behavior.

I guess it wasn’t the busy time yet as it was only 6:00 pm so they were perhaps trying to get us out and free up the table for when they get busier after 7:00 pm or it was just not good training of the staff?
