I’ve been concerned about the children listening to earbuds for extended periods and getting hearing loss over time. Particularly because they are musical and enjoy music so much. The news reports are saying 1 in 5 U.S. teens has hearing loss

Preventing Hearing Damage When Listening With Headphones

Not to be understated the CDC has details of how hearing loss occurs.

And the smaller the headphone the more risk of damage.

So, use headphones safely.

Take the advice of my doctor who gave me my stapedectomy that exposure is caused by regular exposure over the course of several years.
