This blog was created mostly to keep family and friends up to date on what is going on in Kuwait. Everyone asks, “what is it like?”

As of September, 2005, I am now living in Kuwait currently working for Amec on the Project Management Consultancy for Kuwait Oil Company.

Just stumbled upon your blog. Really Cool posts on Kuwait. I too worked in Kuwait for 3 years until last November. Among other things, was quite ‘amazed’ by the quality ( lack) of the media reportings on the English dailies. Your blog does a far smarter job of making the place lovable. Yupp, Shaab beach, Eid breaks, Corniche, Gulf Road, Sheeshas, Arabic cuisine mmmmm.. I guess, my reminiscenses warrant some nostalgic posts on my own blog:
