About

This blog was created mostly to keep family and friends up to date on what is going on in Kuwait. Everyone asks, “what is it like?”

So it gets posted here. Draw your own conclusions or post me a comment and I’ll give you a specific answer if I can.

I am originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Just stumbled upon your blog. Really Cool posts on Kuwait. I too worked in Kuwait for 3 years until last November. Among other things, was quite ‘amazed’ by the quality ( lack) of the media reportings on the English dailies. Your blog does a far smarter job of making the place lovable. Yupp, Shaab beach, Eid breaks, Corniche, Gulf Road, Sheeshas, Arabic cuisine mmmmm.. I guess, my reminiscenses warrant some nostalgic posts on my own blog:

I sure hope to keep (re)visiting your blog on the Kuwait happenings. cheerios,
