Shopping in Kuwait
Taken with the buggy cam, or you could call it the cart cam at the Sultan Center in Mangaf. This is a big grocery store with a second story of hardware, school supplies, clothing etc. also. Video was shot using my Nokia N82 phone, so nobody noticed! I had a wonky cart with a jiggy wheel and I think also the anti-shake was not helping the focus. So I’ll try the experiment again when it’s more crowded. I am rigging up a small clamp to clamp it to the cart as I drive through the shopping center 🙂

Nice Photos
I spend way too much time online. So here is a short post of links to some cool images:
Here are some stunning photos.
And here are some very nice photos of Bolivia from National Geographic. It is nice to see such nice photos. I’ve bought a couple of print issues of National Geographic magazine lately and been underwhelmed by the photos as you expect much more from National Geographic.
And there is also JPG Magazine with quite a variety of photos.

Palms Beach Club in Kuwait – Expensive
I saw this sign on the weekend while there having lunch at Le Pain Quotidien at The Palms.
I wonder what a single male costs? And for a year a couple would be 1800 KD or approximately $6,800 US dollars.
We’ve got a membership at the Hilton club which is less than half this but still too much. But that’s Kuwait cost of living!

I’m going to try it this weekend. No wait a minute I’ll be in Korea. Ok, when I’m back from a week in Korea then.
